Holzworth's revised HA7062C Phase Noise Analyzer and HA7402C Phase Noise Analyzer Engine are each designed to do the job fast and do it right, without hassle. There is no guess work as to whether results are valid to the DUT or if there are unwanted variations or contributions coming from the measurement system itself.

 

ACCURATE: Holzworth analyzers are capable of reaching theoretical measurement limits for the highest performing DUTs. Holzworth applies an ANSI z540 calibration to every analyzer built, creating data traceability to the industry standards set forth by NIST.

 

Few other manufacturers even offer an ANSI z540 Calibration. Holzworth not only provides a z540 calibration at the time of purchase, but Holzworth is the only manufacturer who carries this calibration all the way down to 0.1Hz offset.

 

 

HA7062C REAL TIME PHASE NOISE ANALYZER

The HA7062C is a fully integrated phase noise analysis system. It utilizes the same core engine from our model HA7402C along with a pair of high performance HSX Series RF Synthesizers as the test signal LOs. The stability of the agile synthesizers operating as LO sources for the high speed, cross correlation core enables an extremely reliable phase noise analyzer.

HA7402C REAL TIME PHASE NOISE ANALYZER ENGINE

The HA7402C cross correlation engine is preferred by oscillator manufacturers as the best means to achieve the lowest possible phase noise measurements in the shortest amount of time. The unit offers a 37% cost savings in comparision to the HA7062C becuase there are no internal LO sources. The user supplies 2 LOs (tunable oscillators) to the front panel that have similar operating frequencies to the DUT.  The analyzer will calibrate the LOs with a push of a button and the LOs become part of the test setup. With the proper LOs and DUT power levels, the HA7402C is capable of measuring DUTs into the sub -190dBc/Hz performance levels well within 10 seconds!

GUI CONTROL or COMMAND LINE DRIVEN...

Holzworth’s software development team places a high level of attention to intuitive functionality. The phase noise analyzer GUI operates via the MATLAB™ Runtime environment. The highly reliable MATLAB™ Runtime is freeware that does not require the user to have MATLAB™ installed on the operational PC. The analyzers are also designed to be purely command line driven via commercial and proprietary ATE control programs making for a seamless integration into larger test systems.

WARRANTY

Holzworth analyzer products are warranted for 3 years against manufacturing defects. All product repairs and maintenance must be performed by Holzworth Instrumentation. Holzworth reserves the right to invalidate the warranty for any products that have been tampered with or used improperly.
