The HA7062A is a fully integrated phase noise analyzer. It utilizes the same core engine from our model HA7402A along with a pair of HSM6001A HSM Series RF Synthesizers. The stability of the agile synthesizers operating as LO sources for the high speed, cross correlation core enables an extremely reliable phase noise analyzer with , ultra fast data acquisition speeds.

CROSS CORRELATION ANALYZER ENGINE
The Holzworth HA7402A high speed, cross correlation core was developed specifically to support Holzworth's own manufacturing needs. High speed data acquisition eliminates manufacturing and R&D bottlenecks at the test stations, with the capability to measure the phase noise of the industry's best OCXOs.

The HA7402A cross correlation engine is preferred by OCXO manufacturers as the best means to achieve the lowest possible phase noise measurements in the shortest period of time. The user supplies 2 frequency matched LOs. The HA7042A offers onboard power supplies and PLL tune ports for each LO and the DUT. The application GUI allows for manual control as well as automated fine tuning.
FIXED FREQUENCY CROSS CORRELATION ANALYZERS
The HA7401A fixed frequency phase noise analyzer is a most popular choice of portable applications where measurement speed of high performance reference signals is required. The HA7401A integrates Holzworth's high speed cross correlation core engine with a matched pair of high performance OCXOs. The fixed frequency is selected at the time of purchase and set by the factory. Standard fixed frequencies are 10MHz, 80MHz and 100MHz.

APPLICATION GUI
Holzworth’s software development team places a high level of attention to intuitive functionality. The interface is a key part of the test system formula as the GUI need not complicate things. The phase noise analyzer GUI was primarily designed with manufacturing in mind so that support is at the bare minimum. On the average, a typical user unfamiliar with phase noise measurements can be taking valid data with less than 10 minutes of instruction.
Downtime is expensive, a standard PC is not. Holzworth products are virtual instruments. There is no reason to pay additional fees for a proprietary PC or an integrated front panel, which is known to be a common failure mechanism. Holzworth applications are driver free and operate on any PC (also touch screen compatible). If the test PC fails, simply replace it and the test station is back up and running in a matter of minutes.

All product repairs and maintenance must be performed by Holzworth Instrumentation.
